543Junior.co.uk |
|
|
We are proud to support a pioneering
new website www.543junior.co.uk – an oral health
education website aimed at children, young people, their
parents and teachers. It’s a really fun and interesting
site designed to educate in all aspects of good oral
health.
This website encourages children of all ages to look
after their teeth. Research has shown that if children
look after their teeth from an early age the likelihood
is they will continue to do so for the rest of their
lives.
The site is an ideal tool to encourage the whole family
to embrace good oral health routines and habits and to
reduce poor oral health’s negative impact on general
health, including its links to coronary heart disease
and strokes.
The website is free for all to use and is a standalone
website with no commercial services or materials. It is
packed full of information regarding healthy snacks,
help with tooth brushing techniques and guidance on
which dental treatments are available for your child at
different stages in their development.
In the children’s sections there are numerous age
related games and activities for them to take part in.
To reinforce the importance of good oral health the site
also includes sections for parents and teachers where
they can access educational information and materials
relevant to dental health issues.
The website has been commissioned by 543 Dental Centre,
based in East Yorkshire. The centre has a fresh forward
thinking approach to educating children to look after
their teeth from an early age.
534 has already received the backing of scores of
schools and private agencies – and we hope you get on
board too – so please do take a look and get on board!..

BDTA Dental Showcase -
October 2007
|
|
We chose a
futuristic theme for this year’s stand. The multi-screen
backdrop out of the black background really created an
impact and we received many compliments on the design.
This year’s show saw the launch of the 2008 version of CiC
Pro. The stand was very busy and there was considerable
interest in the new version of CiC as well as the
waiting room and website programs.
David Carr, Managing Director of MEDiVision said “This
year’s show has been a great success. We are always busy,
but this year has been exceptional. It’s great to show so
many existing customers what’s changed in this year’s
release as well as to welcome new clients to the fold.” |

Systems announce agreement to provide Patient
Communication module for R4 practice management
software.
Practiceworks have announced an agreement with
MEDiVision Systems Ltd to provide their Patient
Communication software programs as part of R4.
The software, branded Communicator and Patient Journey,
gives R4 the most comprehensive patient communication
modules available in the UK. Neil Sanderson, Sales &
Marketing Manager UK, said “This is one of the most
significant advancements that the R4 program has had in
a single upgrade. We are delighted to have reached an
agreement with MEDiVision to integrate their proven
software into R4”
Neil Sanderson went on “Communication with patients is
becoming more and more important. Ensuring patients
understand conditions and the treatment options open to
them and can therefore make informed decisions about
their oral health is a vital element in gaining patient
acceptance and confidence”.
David Carr,
Managing Director of MEDiVision Systems LTD said “We
have been working with the development team at
Practiceworks for some time and now have a module which
integrates seamlessly with R4, providing dentists with
access to animations, patient leaflets and photographs
at the touch of a button”.
The agreement
means that all new customers purchasing the Kodak R4
system will get the patient communication modules as
part of their installation, but also provides the
programs as part of the upgrade process when existing
customers renew their annual maintenance contracts.
